Disabled Access Information

Access

All disabled customers are welcome at the O2 Wireless Festival 2007 in Leeds, but as it is a greenfield site there are sections of the arena that have uneven ground meaning that sometimes, access is difficult. Stewards however, will be around to assist. You will have:

  • Own entrance that leads you to the viewing platform for the Main Stage
  • Accessible, suitable toilets in the arena that will be cleaned regularly

Booking tickets

Ticketmaster have a Disabled Customers hotline number that patrons can call when booking tickets to reserve a place on the platform and/or in the campsite. It is 0870 4000 750.

You can register your interest in tickets online. Click on the ticket(s) you want to buy and you will be taken through to a purchase page - click on the Disabled Access icon underneath Step 2. There you can register any specific needs you have and a Ticketmaster representative will call you back to go through your booking with you in more detail. This helps us to ensure that we can cater for your requirements, so that you can concentrate on having a fantastic time...

Please note

Disabled customers will be provided with one free ticket for their helper. Should additional helper tickets be required, please call the disabled access ticket line on 0870 4000 750 or email access@wirelessfestival.co.uk

VIP Tickets

For Live Nation Experience VIP packages, please call 0207 009 3484 to discuss your requirements.

Car Parking

We will confirm details about disabled parking information soon.

Viewing Platform

Viewing platforms are located at every stage, though access is restricted to the disabled customer plus a maximum of two friends/helpers due to space restrictions. Non-disabled customers may be asked to leave the platform when it is busy to avoid overcrowding and we ask all customers to be considerate of others needs.

Accessible Toilets

There are accessible toilets located in most toilet blocks on the site, and specifically by the disabled viewing platform at the main stage. When the site layout is confirmed, we shall post the exact locations of all disabled toilets here.

Camping Facilities for disabled customers

Camping facilities and toilets are provided for disabled customers. Please ensure you purchase a disabled access camping ticket. Please contact us at access@wirelessfestival.co.uk if you wish to camp with your friends, though I'm afraid we must limit this to 4 friends per disabled customer due to restrictions on space.

Can all disabled persons that are camping please bring with them a copy of your blue badge or DLA form. This is for your own safety so we have no unwanted guests into your camping area.

Charging Electric Wheelchairs

If you know that you will need to charge your electric wheelchair at the festival, please get in touch with us beforehand to make arrangements. Email us at access@wirelessfestival.co.uk
